She loves exploring the city with her friends, and has shared with us her favourite things to do in Liverpool!
1. Shopping
Liverpool has a large city centre, with high street shops and designer brands, and the city boasts a famous mall known as Liverpool One. If you want to get something nice for yourself or a loved one, this is the best place for it! The city centre is also relatively close to the University campus, so shopping is never stressful.
2. Sightseeing
There are so many great places to visit in Liverpool, especially at the iconic Waterfront, which is home to the Three Graces, as well as the Museum of Liverpool. There are also 2 cathedrals in the city and 2 major football stadiums. You can even go on a tour bus around Liverpool to help you explore!
3. Attending events
There are always loads of events in Liverpool, including many festivals, held all over the city, with most taking place at Sefton Park. A lot of these events are either free or very affordable, and it is a wonderful way to spend a weekend with your friends.
4. Going to the cinema
As I mentioned earlier, Liverpool’s city centre has plenty of shops, but it’s also home to the Odeon cinema. At the Odeon they show every type of movie, ranging from drama to horror, and the best part is that they offer discounts for students. I love going to the cinema with my friends on a Friday night, especially when it’s for the release of a new film!
5. Fun activities
When it comes to things to do in Liverpool you have so many options, from bowling, to go-karting and mini golf. Hollywood Bowl is a great bowling place in the city, and it also has an arcade to make the experience twice as fun.
