Canadian university tuition and fees 

Once accepted into a Canadian degree program, you’ll be required to start making payments toward university tuition, fees and housing.

Living expenses in Canada  

Paying for your university education is only one aspect of your expenses when studying abroad in Canada. You’ll also need to ensure you have enough money to live comfortably in your new destination. Here are some other cost considerations: 

  • To be able to live in Canada as a student, you must prove that you have enough money to pay for university tuition and fees plus an additional CAD$10,000 per academic year (for living expenses)  
  • Tuition and student fees do not include the cost of textbooks, course materials, and other supplies associated with your program of study, so you need to budget extra for these

Canadian student housing 

At our partner university in Canada, you’re guaranteed to live in an on-campus residential building during your first year as an undergraduate student. After your first year, you can apply to stay in a limited number of on-campus housing units or move off campus to a nearby house or apartment.

When you live in on-campus student housing, utility costs (electricity, water, Internet, etc.) are included in your student housing fee. Depending on where you choose to live off-campus, utility costs will vary and are often an additional cost to your monthly rent.
