Are you interested in studying Health Sciences at university, but not quite sure what it involves?
Health Sciences is a wide subject area that includes many different degrees, leading to varied career options across the healthcare sector.
As a student of Health Sciences, you’ll learn about how to prevent, diagnose, and treat medical conditions, and focus on how to improve health in general. Medicine is probably the best known Health Sciences degree, but there are lots of other options!
For example, you might want to study Physiotherapy so you can help people to recover from illness or injury.
Alternatively, you might want to study Occupational Therapy and learn how to support people with physical or mental difficulties, or help people with long-term illnesses get back to work.
There are all kinds of aspects of healthcare to be interested in. With Kaplan, you can gain entry to a degree in this subject at a number of UK universities.
