Students who join the U of A Year One Foundation Program will study on the North Campus, which has a large and vibrant international student community. You can then progress to bachelor’s programs at either the North Campus or the Augustana campus.

For example, if you’re looking for a larger campus that’s close to Edmonton, you might choose to live on the North Campus. However, students looking for a quieter campus experience may prefer the Augustana campus.
What setting suits you? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, busy atmosphere? Or are you happier somewhere quieter, close to nature? At the University of Alberta, you’ll have two location options in your second year that give you the opportunity to choose the vibe that works for you!
Please note that the overall cost of your studies can vary by campus and degree program. When budgeting, you’ll need to think about the cost of your housing, transportation and any other living expenses.
