University of Oregon degree admission
If you already meet the academic and English language requirements for the University of Oregon (UO), we can help you prepare your application for admission to a bachelor’s degree program.
Do I qualify for degree admission?
You may qualify for degree admission based on the following minimum requirements.*
Admission requirements for undergraduate students:
- GPA: minimum GPA 3.0 in previous study
- English language: minimum TOEFL 88, IELTS 7.0, Duolingo 120, or equivalent
*These are UO’s standard admission requirements. Conditional admission may be offered based on English proficiency. Use our Degree Finder to see the requirements for the program(s) you’re interested in.
If you meet the academic entry requirements for a degree but need to improve your English language score, you may be offered conditional admission. If you are conditionally admitted, you will need to demonstrate that you have increased your English language score to the required level before you can start your degree program. You can either submit your own updated test scores, or start in the Intensive English Program at the on-campus American English Institute. When you successfully complete the highest level of the program, you will be granted full admission to your UO degree program.
