If you have earned credits through studying at a different college or university, but you want to continue your education at the University of Oregon (UO), Kaplan can help. Through us, you can apply for transfer admission to an undergraduate degree program at UO.
What is transfer admission?
Transfer admission is an option for qualified undergraduate students who have earned some college or university credits at another university and want to transfer to UO to continue their studies.
If this sounds like you, you can apply for “transfer admission” into Year 2 or 3 of a bachelor’s degree program at UO. The University will evaluate which of your existing undergraduate credits can be applied toward a UO degree. When you graduate, your degree will be awarded by the University of Oregon.

If you have 24 or more transferable undergraduate credits from another college or university, you can apply for transfer admission to UO.
You will also need to meet the following basic entry requirements:
- Academic: minimum GPA 2.5 out of 4.0, depending on the program you’re applying to
- English language: minimum TOEFL 88 / IELTS 7.0 / Duolingo 120
